What is our Mission?
What is it we do? What is it we talk about? What is it we sing about? WHAT IS OUR MISSION?
The answer to every question is one four letter word… HOPE! What is it we do? We take every opportunity provided to us to talk about, sing about, write about, pray about, and worship… HOPE! What is our Mission? To Restore Hope!
Not just any hope. Not the hope represented in a good tear-jerking movie or a heart wrenching ballad. This Hope has a big “H.” This Hope existed before and participated in Creation. This Hope was with Moses on Mount Sinai, stood with Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah in a fiery furnace, and made a young man throw down the armor of man, take up the Armor of God, and defeat giants. This Hope Is the Gate through which we enter the Narrow Path. This Hope Is our RE-Creation and our Salvation. This Hope holds the Book of Life and the keys to death. This Hope gives all those who claim this Hope a Great Commission to spread the news about this Hope across the world and to our next-door neighbor. This Great Commission is our MISSION!
What is Restoring Hope?
As we sought to understand this mission ourselves, it was our experience that True Hope has been all but Forgotten in the lives of the very people who claim Him. Who Hope really is, what He has really done for the world and us as individuals, has been under attack for so long that Christians have wearied under the weight and offer less than Hope Offers. We spent all of 2022 experimenting with what our Going Out should look like. We went into the local church and the communities surrounding. We both brought individuals into our home and went into theirs. After we were done, there was nothing left to do but follow in Samuel’s shoes and say, “Speak, Lord. Your servant is listening.”
What came of this time of prayer and reflection? Restoring Hope! Bringing to His people the message of Hope and what Hope offers and helping equip them to bring this message out into their communities in response to the Great Commission.
This is a path we have committed to and, having listened, believe this is the next step God directs us to as a part of our Raising The Church Outreach.
What is Raising The Church?
Scripture instructs us to Raise the Church in two ways. First, we must Raze, which means to tear down. In this case, to get rid of all man has constructed between us and Christ and between ourselves and our co-heirs. Second, we must Raise, or build up, His congregation, which we refer to today as The Church. This is where Restoring Hope comes in. Christ said there is no church that can call itself God’s that is not built on the Foundation of Hope. As Hope Himself is the Cornerstone, and the Truth that comes from that Cornerstone is the remaining Foundation, this is the Hope we aim to Restore.

Is all this really necessary?
Not only is it necessary... it is urgently necessary! For a few years now, a Christian Research Center has been doing authentic research studies into the beliefs, practices, and standards of all different roles within the professed church, individuals, parents, elders, pastors, etc. Their unquestionable results not only confirm what many of us have known but show them to pale by comparison to reality. What would a Restoring Hope event look like?
So, what would it look like if you brought a Restoring Hope event to your community or church?
The easy answer, watch the video highlights below! The sum-up is, we bring worship through song, message, and testimony in an attempt to Restore Hope wherever we are invited.
Are we offering or even suggesting that we will bring a “Revival” to your church or community?
No! We believe, as many before us did – including Havner, Tozer, and Finney, who led a great Revival across America – that no church can bring Revival to a community that hasn’t first experienced Revival themselves. Furthermore, no church can experience a Revival unless its individual members experience one in themselves. As all of these taught and the Gospels teach, Revival is not possible without first having Repented of being where we expect to be “Revived” from.
Can a Revival happen?
Absolutely! Hope waits anxiously for just such an event in the individual, in the local church, and in His Congregation, and we can think of no greater thing than to be present at such a time.
How can I invite P.O.C. to bring a Restoring Hope event to my church or community?
